Echo

Echo is a rich 2D puzzle-platformer centered on the innovative mechanics of repetition, and collaborative strategy. In Echo, you control a character with the extraordinary ability to create temporal clones recorded versions of yourself that faithfully retrace your past movements and actions. Summon these echo to work alongside you, forming strategic partnerships with your own previous selves.

We introduced a looping mechanic that allows the player’s clone to repeatedly perform specific actions, enabling the player to solve certain puzzles by having their clone carry out tasks in a continuous cycle.

Player actions are repeated through an echo, so the player and their echo exist simultaneously in two different locations. In some levels, the coordinated repetition of actions between the player and the echo leads to victory. Other levels require careful timing and multiple repetitions of these echoed actions to overcome challenges and progress.

Game Controls and Tips:- 

Movement:- Press  'A' to left and 'D' to move right.

Jump:- Press 'Spacebar' to Jump.

RECORD: Press 'R' to start recording your movements, jumps, and actions. 

DEPLOY: Press 'R' again to spawn an "Echo" that will perfectly replay your recorded actions on a continuous loop. 

COOPERATE: Use your echo to solve puzzles that require two players. Have it stand on pressure plates, help you push heavy boxes, and activate platforms while you navigate to the exit. LOOP: Master the time loop to overcome challenges that are impossible alone.
